New Phone on the Market – Honor 10X Lite Review and Analysis

Honor is Huawei’s sub-brand and it shot to fame last year after launching many of its smartphone variants. Honor is focused on budget-friendly phones with great designs and efficient hardware. The Honor Play proved to a powerful gaming-centric smartphone for budget buyers. Honor 10 Lite was the first smartphone in 2019 from this Chinese manufacturer. The Honor 10X Lite is an upgraded version of the Honor 10 Lite. This  new model brings in some meaningful improvements. This phone was launched on 10th November this year.

Design:

The 10X lite has an ultra-wide angle module that complements the 48MP main unit.
Additionally, the phone also has 2MP macro camera joining the already available depth sensor. 
It includes a 6.67 inch touchscreen show with a goal of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a perspective proportion of 20.9.".
This phone runs on an octa-core Hisilicon Kirin 710A processor.
It has 4GB of RAM.
It also runs on Android 10 and is powered by a 5000mAh battery.
Honor 10X lite supports fast charging.

Camera:

This phone comes with a 48 megapixel camera at the rear end with an f/1.8 aperture, a second 8 megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture and a third 2MP camera with an f/2.4 aperture. It also has a fourth 2MP rear camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera setup also features an option of autofocus. The front camera is 8MP for selfies with an f/2.0 aperture. 

Build:

The Honor 10X Lite runs on MagicUI 3.1 processor based on Android 10 and has 128 GB of internal storage. You can expand the storage with a microSD card upto 512GB. This one is a dual-sim smartphone supporting 2 GSM. It accepts two Nano-SIM cards. It measures 165.65 x 76.88 x 9.26 mm and weighs around 206 gm. The phone is available in smart colors such as Emerald Green, Midnight Black and Icelandic Frost. 

Connectivity:

It is connected by Wi-FI, GPS, Bluetooth v5.10, USB Type-C, 3G and 4G. 
Sensors available on the phone are ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, fingerprint sensor and accelerometer.

Battery:

This phone has a USB-C port for charging and it charges much faster as up to 22.5W as opposed to the 10 watts in 9X Lite. The new battery of 5000mAh is way higher than the earlier 3750mAh.

Final Verdict:

This phone is almost identical to the Huawei P smart 2021, the only difference are the rearranged cameras at the rear. This phone is priced at 15,590 INR. It is speculated to launch in India on January 20, 2021.
